Coming to an end...
Dear players, fans and others,
right after its 16th anniversary in September 2015 I have to officially announce that Mankind will permanently close its doors by the end of this month. I don’t want to get nostalgic here but 16 years are a very long time – this day will be a sad day for the community.
From today’s point of view Mankind will permanently close with all it’s services. While there are still some ongoing talks with interested and supporters the company O2OE will not open again. The payment and subscription page is already offline since several weeks. There are very few players which might still have payed playing time in November. O2OE will not grant any refund for that (as the company will close).
The brand and vision will stay...

A huge galaxy thousands of systems, planets to settle, explore, trade or fight in space, on planets grounds and atmosphere, build an empire with almost no units limits!
Indeed the graphics are vintage but Mankind is still the only truly persistent universe around check it out... Labels: News
FR: Quelques bonnes nouvelles, la maintenance qui devrait résoudre quelques bugs sur le serveur Nord (jump instantané, les problèmes de sortie:entrée des bases, etc).
Le forum qui était envahi par les spams est nettoyé, il semble qu’actuellement seule la section anglaise soit active (impossible de poster dans la section française pour le moment).
Une correction des problèmes d'affichages de caractères sur le site officiel devrait aussi bientôt être réglée. Quelques éléments qui rassureront les joueurs et ceux qui hésitaient à rallier la galaxie MK.

All servers of Mankind will come down for an emergency maintenance on 26th of may 2013. The maintenance should start around 15:00 (GMT+1) and is expected to last about two hours. Please accept our apology for any problems caused and thank you for your understanding.
EN: Some good news, A maintenance that should solve actual bugs on north server (instant jump, out/in base bug, etc) .
Forum that was flowed by spam had been cleaned-up.
And some little bug on official web should also be fixed soon. Some news that should reassure actual and potential players.
